Cookies and browser storage
Pubdoku uses only the browser storage it needs to run the game. Separately, Lovable's built-in analytics counts traffic in aggregate. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
Local browser storage
The game saves your progress for each puzzle — filled squares, guess count, elapsed time and streak — in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, it is keyed to the specific puzzle, and it is only read to restore the grid when you come back.
You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for Pubdoku in your browser.
Necessary service operation
Requests that fetch the daily puzzle, search pub names or check an answer go to the hosted service that runs the game. Any storage or headers involved there exist to serve the site securely and reliably, not to track you across other websites.
Aggregate visitor analytics
Lovable's built-in aggregate visitor analytics is active. It counts overall traffic — visitors and pageviews, visit duration, bounce rate, sources, pages, devices and country (derived from your browser's time zone). It is not profile-based and does not follow you across separate visits.
Pubdoku does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
If that ever changes
We do not load advertising technology or third-party behavioural analytics, so there is no consent banner today. Should we introduce optional advertising or analytics technologies, we will ask for the appropriate choice before they load, and this page and the privacy page will be updated to name what is used.
